“The basis of Elementum lies in the ancient philosophy of the four fundamental elements of the natural world - water, earth, air and fire.”

 

Echoing the transitions and interactions between these elements, the exhibition invites the audience to form their own connected understandings and interpretations of the works in relation to the transitional concept of the four elements.

 

As a team, we devised a coherent curatorial narrative for the exhibition, chose the artists from an open call and decided on the layout of the exhibition as well. I was in charge of the installation process, where I had to come up with a schedule for the artists to come in and made sure the logistics were ready for them to set up their works.
